INDUSTRY DECEPTION ...WHO’S INVOLVED…AND WHERE DO THEY MAKE THE MONEY? - THE PROOFS IN THE BOOK ABOUT THE WAR ON CANCER BELOW

Back around 1950 ...before we heard of industry deception ...statistics showed that one in twelve people ..."were likely to be affected by cancer in their lifetime" ...today after spending BILLIONS of dollars on research and development ...that figure is one in two ...we seem to be heading in the wrong direction?

Is it possible ...that the drug companies are looking for a treatment "to manage the symptoms of cancer" ...rather than "cure it" ...is this why our statistics have gone the wrong way?

Could this be a case of deception? ...the ‘market’ now is now six times larger ...without taking population growth into consideration.

Even blind Freddie can see ...that most of the drug company R&D money is being spent on the direction of managing symptoms ...and relatively speaking ...very little on finding cures.

Do you think ...that spending most of the R&D money on products that only manage the illness or disease symptoms ...instead of looking for a cure ...is deceptive ...If it's widely practiced it surely must be.

Does deception exist? ...perhaps you should be the judge?

According to the Ohio News the State of Ohio will receive $2.9 million as part of a settlement reached recently between 33 states and Pfizer Inc. over the company’s allegedly deceptive promotion of two prescription painkillers.

WHAT COULD THE MOTIVATION BE?

Could it be that companies would rather make money from a patient ...for the rest of their life ...by producing products that manage their symptoms ...rather than producing a drug ...that is used once off curing a patient...that could be a very strong motivation for industry deception.

The question then becomes ...do they invest in R&D ...providing medicines and drugs that will cure an illness or disease ...or do they invest in something that manages the symptoms for the rest of the patients life.

Obviously there is far more money in managing the symptoms for the life of the patient...than curing them ...so drugs that manage the symptoms get most of the R&D funding.

How could this industry claim they are part of our "health and wellness system" ...when they mostly deal reactively in sickness ...that is a deceptive practice and clearly industry deception.
